Utahns killed in Iraq (as of 15 March 2004) • Staff Sgt. James W. Cawley, 41, Layton — Killed March 29, 2003, during a firefight near Nasiriyah. • Staff Sgt. Nino D. Livaudis, 23, Syracuse — Killed April 3, 2003, with two other Army Rangers by a suicide bomber at a checkpoint near the Haditha Dam, 80 miles east of the Syrian border. • Capt. Nathan S. Dalley, 27, Kaysville — Killed Nov. 17, 2003, in Baghdad by a nonhostile gunshot wound. • Sgt. David J. Goldberg, 20, Layton — Killed Nov. 26, 2003, in Qayyarah by a gunshot wound to his upper right chest. • Sgt. Juan Carlos Cabral, 25, Ogden — Killed Jan. 31, 2004, with two other soldiers when their vehicle struck an explosive device near the city of Kirkuk. • Sgt. Clint Ferrin, 31, North Ogden — Killed March 13, 2004 when his Humvee was bombed in southeastern Baghdad.
